~Day 55~
A little bit of bleeding this morning, but it stopped in less than 30 minutes so I'm not too worried. Probably going to go ahead and schedule a doctor's appointment next week even though my work insurance doesn't kick in until January 1.
I went ahead and ate my healthy breakfast sandwich with a glass of orange juice. Then, I made a batch of cupcakes for a birthday luncheon we were going to at noon. So, of course I had to sample my creation! Then I hopped in for a quick shower and just about tossed my cookies while I was in there. I'm not sure if it was a combination of what happened earlier, or too much sugar caused a spike followed by a tremendous drop or maybe the shower was too hot for me right then-who knows but I felt really bad all of a sudden.
I called Mom's cell hoping to talk to her about it while we drove to the party. Instead, I got Dad (which is fine, I was just hoping to keep this kind of low key...) and a lecture about eating right, taking care of myself and going to the doctor (haven't been yet due to insurance complications). Indirectly, I also had a wave of feelings of irresponsibility hit me. What were we thinking getting pregnant? We're doing good to make ends meet right now! I just have to keep telling myself this baby is a gift from God and it was meant to happen. :)
So at the party, I stayed away from the potato chips and no birthday cake (which wasn't a big deal really, I haven't been wanting sweets) and I ate a hamburger and some beans.
I felt off pretty much all day-but started feeling better towards sundown. We had all the youth over to our house for a bonfire, smore's & chili dog feast, and a movie. For some odd reason, after I got a couple of chili dogs down, I felt a lot better.
P.S. Had a youth accept Christ-WHOOP!!
